Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Agent Tobi ("we", "us") for your use of Agent Tobi ("Tobi"), a retention assistant for life insurance agents at agenttobi.com. By signing up or using Tobi, you agree to them.
1. What Tobi does
Tobi organizes the client and policy information you give it, flags policies that may lapse, reminds you to check drafts, and drafts texts and emails for you to review. Tobi does not give insurance, legal, tax, or financial advice, and it does not contact carriers for you.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and use Tobi for your insurance business. Each agent gets a private sign-in link that works like a password. Keep links private, and remove agents who leave your agency. You're responsible for activity under your account.
3. Subscriptions and payment
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial, unless the checkout page says otherwise. After the trial, plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. Prices are listed on agenttobi.com and may change with at least 30 days' notice by email. Cancellation and refunds are covered by our Refunds and cancellation policy.
4. Messages to your clients
Every text and email Tobi drafts waits for your approval. You are the sender, and you're responsible for each message you approve or send. You agree to:
- Contact only clients who have given the consent required by law, such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM, and state rules.
- Honor every opt-out request right away.
- Follow your carriers' and state insurance department rules on client communications.
- Check each draft for accuracy before you send it.
5. Your data
You own the client information you upload. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Tobi for you, as described in our Privacy policy. You confirm you're allowed to share that information with us.
6. AI-generated content
Tobi uses artificial intelligence to answer questions and write drafts. AI can make mistakes. Check important details, such as dates, amounts, and grace periods, against your carrier portals before acting on them.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Tobi to send spam or unwanted marketing, harass anyone, break the law, or try to access other customers' data or our systems.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Tobi running, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve or change features over time. If we ever shut Tobi down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.
9. Disclaimers and limits
Tobi is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost policies, lost commissions, chargebacks, or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
10. Ending your use
You can cancel anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or don't pay.
